Juan Carlos Arenas is a composer for film, TV, animation, documentaries and theatre with a broad experience in sound design and digital audio manipulation. His work is characterised by the ability to successfully articulate the visuals and the narration with the musical language as an enhancer of the film director’s intent.
Juan Carlos obtained a Master in Composing for Film and TV with Distinction at Kingston University in London (2005).
The main project for his Master, was the score for the animated documentary Little Voices (Pequeñas Voces) by Eduardo Carrillo. The film won the award Anabel Andujar Alfonso (Spain, 2003) and was officially selected for the 60 Mostra Internazionale d’arte Cinematografica, Venice, Italy 2003
